euro_pop_legend 07-Jun-23, 13:52	My agreed theories on life's original existence on Earth We will never be sure and never really answer it.I am not going to get into religion,God and more. Only the scientific part of what I deem the real answer.Its not a new theory,just one that I agree with.My thoughts are simple.Either an early smaller asteroid collision with the Earth or collision nearby with other early objects circling around as the solar system was forming,then debris entered from above or a meteor impact on the cooling Earth with not as much atmosphere yet...brought either some primitive strands of DNA or other building blocks of life to our planet.Yes,I know about the carbon rule necessary for life with the impacts,ect.But the carbon footprint could have came,even if we have not came across it.Just enough to "wait"until the planet cooled and an atmosphere formed,water later came about and more.Perhaps multiple impacts on the Earth before a stronger atmosphere formed to repel more meteors or an asteroid impact.It makes sense,with a weaker atmosphere and more.Just look at the Moon and all the crater impacts there.Without a good atmosphere,the impacts will continue.But,maybe just one of those impacts on the early forming Earth,could have brought the basic buiding blocks of life to later evolve. Just my thoughts about that.Nothing new and still controversial with yea's and no's,but I stick with that theory.That theory does not answer where life and how life originated in the universe but it is a start.A planet far outside of our solar system could have been teeming with life before it was destroyed by an asteroid...then those same building blocks of life could have arrived from vast stellar distances away and entered our planet through impacts or dust. Now...is this true and who knows? THEN WE are the aliens that originated from another planet! Forget all those sci-fi movies with aliens coming to Earth to destroy us. We are the aliens ALREADY!And we end up destroying ourselves anyway or "be destroyed" by a future impact of asteroid or large meteor....then our building blocks of life will travel light years away on another rock and land on another planet forming.Kind of a form of immortality. Far fetched theories?Don't be so sure! After the formation of nucleobases in outer space, the meteorites would have been able to deliver the molecules to Earth, later becoming the basis of all genetic coding for life. www.sciencedaily.com www.nasa.gov
euro_pop_legend 07-Jun-23, 14:07	While the above theory may have several faults in it,it also kind of solves the question of life originating out of nowhere on Earth.In a way,I believe that life DID NOT come out of nowhere but had "help"in the form of a tangible force of material from space.Perhaps those molecules were deep within the meteor as to avoid the harshness of space. Let me add that those passing comets,its tails,possibly some scant water and an early flyby to primitive Earth could have been the answer.So a meteor,asteroid or a comet is my agreed upon theory.Yours?And please do not bring up religion and God.Stick with science only.

The Miller-Urey experiment provided the first evidence that organic molecules needed for life could be formed from inorganic components. Some scientists support the RNA world hypothesis, which suggests that the first life was self-replicating RNA. While again,there are arguments pro and con,I suppose this is another great theory of the origin of life in its earliest forms.I am to some extent,swayed in either direction,but still prefer the first theory above.I heard of the same inorganic theory,combined with a lightning strike that radically altered the inorganic reactions under an early atmosphere.
