Synth-Pop and other styles of Electro Pop does have DEEP SOUL.In addition,music like Sandra Lauers's tunes were the RAVE throughout country after country around the GLOBE and BECAME the pure essence,chemistry AND culture of countless millions!!!!!!!! So,no soul or "pedestrian"?Ridiculous.These type of comments are far more than just an "opinion". To me as a music pro,I can tell you that anyone making those reviews have been living in a music world with horse blinders on their ears AND eyes!Perhaps they were "stuck"in the 1970's with weed and drugs and have never decided to EXPLORE the music that made millions scream and cry for singers like Sandra Lauer,Cyndi Lauper,Madonna,Prince,Michael Jackson,Sabrina,Nena,Alphaville and others!!!More than likely,while others were dancing the night away in the nightclubs of the USA and Europe...they were either sitting home sucking up weed and that white powder or in the woods somewhere listening to hard Rock or thrash metal. Nothing wrong with those styles of music!But then,do not make any comments and even call them your "valid opinion"if you have limited your experiences in the REAL WORLD of 1980's/1990's music!!!!!!!!!!! Pop,electro Pop,Synth-Pop and other styles of POP practically RULED MOST OF THE PLANET in fame and popularity back in the 1980's!!!!!How much popularity?MORE than good old Rock & Roll music!!!!!!!Now,that is NOT my opinion....but a proven FACT by statistics!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So,no soul and pedestrian?????Think again! Or another way of looking at it:They have no taste in music!

euro_pop_legend 14-Jun-23, 10:07	Todays picks for 6/14/23 with regards to the Queen of Synth-Pop Sandra: www.youtube.com 1999 Secret Land.Updated version of her original from 1988. www.youtube.com 1986 Mirror of Love Last year in Aug of 2022 Sandra made a rare appearance in the USA starting in Elizabeth,NJ at the Ritz Plaza performing Arts center,then NYC.After that she made her way across the USA westward.And course...I was there!But not just as a fan in the audience in NJ.I met her downstairs with a few select others by special invitation!!It was a high honor.Security padded us down and kept a close watch!Food and wine was served!An hour later she and Thomas Anders did their shows...first Sandra,then Thomas!Know who Thomas Anders is?You should!! Now...Sandra was 60 years old in 2022.Yes,her appearance and voice has changed,that is to be expected.But do not tell that to the crowded arts center or in NYC the next day!!It was packed with screaming fans...even in their 20's!!!!!!!!!!!!Now...what does that tell you???? So,the legend lives on.Back in the 1980's/1990's her voice was deemed much more world-class than even Madonna and others. It is hard for me to explain this to you,but in some of the music video's I offer you,whether it be two of the above or the 70 in my profile.... Sandra possessed a voice and a "brilliancy" that not even Tina Turner,Whitney Houston,Cyndi Lauper and others never really had!!!!Can you feel it???When you begin to,you will more deeply understand what I mean!!! Even record sales do not tell the full story of her legacy!!!!!!!!!!

Madonna used a business like approach,she had huge commercial backers,a movie,TV commercial(Pepsi),controversy,sexual acts in her music video's,burning religious Cross's and more.
