Graphene batteries...the wave of the future for cars? The reports have been circling for a while. This is just one of them. Lithium-ion batteries can and will work for your cars, but the charging times, especially from a near dead battery is 4 hours or more from many reports that I have read. It appears to me that graphene batteries may be the BETTER wave of the future, since charging times will be reduced to minutes if not quicker. There must be some issues and more research to be accomplished, but my gut feeling is that this is it....that is until one day we can have vehicles that run on controlled fusion(not fission...fusion). I have also read that there is not enough lithium in the world for the massive level of cars and trucks as the population increases.Graphene batteries are supposed to last approx 10 years.Perhaps the cost is prohibited to produce for now,I do not know. But just some food for thought. |
