US national doughnut days
Feb 21st: Fastnacht Day

June 8th: Jelly filled doughnut day

Sept 14th: Cream filled doughnut day

Oct 23rd: Boston Cream pie day(for pies)

Pick up a dozen on those days,but come early,the lines are sometimes deep,that is,if the
dougnut shop is a good one.Forget those scrappy Dunkin Doughnuts!Years ago they were
good,but not anymore.They produce them differently now and they are not as fresh.
Even Krispy Kreme doughnuts are better...that is if you can find one!I went to a Krispy K
once near the Pocono area of Pa and watched those glazed doughnuts coming right out of
the oil and hand selected into a cooling drawer.5 minutes later,I had one of their famous
melt in your mouth glazed doughnuts which were still just a bit warm....just the way you
want them...perfect!They are so good that you can forget all those ones with cream inside
or nuts on top.

After you consume a dozen,do a thousand sit ups for those perfect six pack abs!
And don't forget to wash the doughnuts down with a nice thick chocolate milkshake
with whipped cream on top!Hey...only 2000 more sit ups to go!Your the man!

I can have a huge hunk of lasagna with potatoes and sour cream,then....
I can eat 2 dozen dougnuts in a day if I wanted,2 milkshakes,a scoop of icecream,
a slice of pie,one piece of cake with frosting,a large bottle of coke and some cookies
by midnight.Perhaps a beer or two and none of those tasteless light or low calorie beers!

Then lay down for hours doing no work or activity whatsoever.

The next morning,I can get on the scale and have gained no weight or one pound at most!
I have maintained about 168 lbs at 5'9" for the last 30 years.Not overweight at all.

Now,as to my cholesterol level...that is a different story!Time to Pop a Choles. pill!
So,I have never worried what I have to eat!Although the plastic in the fish may kill
me one day.Me thinks that there is less plastic in doughnuts!

What I failed to mention above,is that I have worked out intensely at two different gyms 3 times a week...machines,free weights and tread mills.I have been doing that continually since 1978!Sometimes the tread mill the next day.My workouts cover almost 2 hours with no more than a minutes rest between sets.I use over 15 machines to cover every area of the body.My sit ups are intense,and usually on a decline board.

So,the end result is a fairly good muscular body,but I am older now.In the 1980's,I was a monster.
So...as to me eating what I want,with some doughnuts thrown in....no problemo,I just burn off the fat!
