Time commitment
Captains, how much time do you dedicate to administering your club each month?

|
Time
Some teams I know spend quite a bit of time arranging matches. Personally, I tend to spend close to an hour roughly twice a month, as games wind down for my team mates. The messages show when a challenge is accepted, which occurs a half hour to a day or to later. If the challenge isn’t accepted after two days you can assume it isn’t happening and cancel. You are permitted five challenges. You can accept general challenges, or issue specific challenges to a team. Most team captains prefer you name the their combatants. You HAVE to pick yours, from 2 to some big number. Many captains prefer two only so they can finish games faster on the ladder. Many captains set the limit to 50 points difference—the default is 100. You can select 3, 5, or 7 day games. Some players don’t play three (bad connections) while others don’t play seven (which can take multiple months).

Time
Between my Co-Captain & I, we each spend on average, at least an hour plus everyday. If you want more details about our team, like lord_shiva just gave you, let us know. Hope this helps.

The real question is also what do you during the day. Like how much do you work. And, then do you things like work out the gym, as just one example. That all should come into consideration. And, it does for me which is why even though my automatic decline challenge rules are set a 3 days. I don't play too many games. Having said that, if ever a mini tournament was to be set up which I believe was even discussed in this club, I'd participate. But, in general, I keep my games to somewhat of a minimum because of other things that go on and how busy I'd get.

Time (Corrected)
I set up matches for about two hours a day total, in several sessions. Plus about an hour a week for other things, such as Team Forum posts, timeouts, monthly progress reports, etc.
