mikemate 05-Sep-25, 15:30	New player with double match. We have a new player on our team and we accidentally assigned a duplicate match. Is there anything that can be done to eliminate the duplicate match, just started, on move 1. Thank you.
dynamic-dv 05-Sep-25, 21:35	@ Mikemate If it is only one player affected ask him if he is ok with playing 2 together he could separate them by time playing one faster than the other for a while.
mikemate 05-Sep-25, 21:44	Good advice, Dave. I did tell him he could offer draws in the duplicate match if he desired. Separating by playing time is a good option! Thank you.
dynamic-dv 05-Sep-25, 21:47	@ Mikemate in a word no! the only way to stop the game is all your players affected to resign bofore move2 then their games will come up short and their ratings won't be affected. it doesn't work on tournament games but could work on team games.
