From the bad to the great
Had the obligatory drinking holidays in my teens, Ibiza & Tenerife, wouldn't recommend it to be honest. The islands are quite nice, but if I went again I would stay out of the main resort which is filled with people like me, not a great holiday.

6 weeks camping in France & Spain, was my disastrous first attempt at travelling, great fun though, a mate & I reeling from one screw up to the next, drunk & laughing a lot of the time.

Took a year out to go travelling, 3 months in the states, 1 in Fiji, 6 in NZ & 2 in Australia, best year of my life without a shadow.

Holidays since: Italy (Naples), Austria (Salzburg & small town hour outside), Slovakia (Zilina), Cuba (beach holiday, forget which resort).

Alas, nothing this year, maybe a weekend in Southampton, my past jet setting lifestyle caught up with me!

Like you Daddysgirl, if I could move anywhere in the world I would love to move to the States, Montana, Big Sky Country, loved it.

Salzburg
I went there from munich on a sunday. it was a good day out, nothing but tourists!! which made it fun, loads of english speaker which was good.

Also went to Bad Aibling, near Rosenheim. My dad used to work there. that was good also.
