daverundle 02-Sep-06, 02:32	ethnic profiling This has caused quite a stir since it was mooted that the security services at airports in this country would start targetting specific ethnic groups in the fight against terrorism. Anyone out there feel this is not reasonable? Muslim groups in this country are claiming it is anti Muslim, unfortunately most of the recent acts of terror are carried out by people who claim to be Muslim, and the plot in London was being planned by yep people claiming to be Muslims, hard to see how the security services are not going to pay more attention to Muslims when they are trying to stop hundreds of innocent people being murdered. If the 7th Day Adventist, the Scout movement e.g were continually being caught plotting mass murder i am sure they would be be targetted, so it is not anti Muslim but anti mass murder. Seems more sensible to me than searching an 85 yr old grandmother going on holiday to Spain.
