Using calculus equations I'm sure it can be proven that it's symetrical with the X axis and not the Y. Unless you somehow put it on your ceiling or floor.

Heard this one tonight.
There is a hurricane, and you are driving your car. You see 3 people at a bus stop, an injured old woman, your best friend who saved your life, and the woman of your dreams. There is only enough room for 1 passenger in the vehicle. What do you do?

soul
what is symmetrical?

In a graph it is where a line reflects itself at either the X axis, the Y axis or both. In this case it would only be the X axis, because the Mirrors are usually put up against a wall. Unless you're getting the Honeymoon Suite, then it would be the Y if you were standing under it, which for the most part, isn't happening in the Honeymoon Suite

soul
that is an easy one...lend your car to the friend to take the old lady to the hospital, stay with the hottie and impress her with your compassion, the caliber of your friends, and your sparkling wit and personality.

Nice one Jeff. You saw that same movie?
It was 16 blocks with Mos Def, and Bruce Willis. Not bad, but also not the best I've seen. I would have made grandma sit on my mans lap, and had the hottie on my own.

jeez...i am a math teacher...i know what symmetry is!

i meant, what is it that is symmetrical? a mirror reflects equally in all directions (turn it any amount of degrees and it does the same thing), so i am not sure how your answer solves the problem. picture yourself lying horizontally, you get the same quandry.

nah..
never saw that movie. actually, i figured that one out....i asked my wife and she said she would drive the old lady to the hospital, so i knew that could not be right! she is a doctor, and always thinks of the poor old folks first...not me!

Here's a general riddle, until I can remember a good one.
Take the number of your fingers multiplied by the number of you toes divided by one half and add it to the number of months in a year. What is the total?

That's a good one, tricky ones are the best.
I like this one it's fast.

What is another name for the beach? Coast

What does a lamp sit on to light the streets? Post

When you make fun of the president at a dinner? Roast

I have 10, you have 20, and He has 100. He has the ...? Most

What do you put in a toaster?

Case IV is correct. You don't count the thumbs.
And dividing by half equates to multiplying by 2. 172 is the answer.

What the heck is
Without knowing the actual speed of 'warp one' it is impossible to answer.

Here's something I've been thinking about related to light speed. Let's say you are travelling at above light speed. If you face back towards the source of light, would the planets start revolving in an opposite direction, because of the light you're seeing being older light when the planets were in prior positions? I think it's yes, even though it's impossible to prove.

Also, when you're travelling at exactly the speed of light, and you look back at our sun, would you even see it?

Ok, it takes a year to get to the speed of light.
But how much faster than light can the spaceship travel, if any?

I guess a couple of assumptions are in order
I assume that the ship will max out at light speed.
I also assume a constant acceleration.
That means that in the time it takes the ship to get to light speed, the ship will have travelled half a light year so the remainder of the trip will take another half a light year. This makes a travelling time of 1.5 years.

So the clock could be 2021AD or 2022AD if the started in the latter part of 2020. All subjective time of course.

As for the symmery problem
I think it has to do with the fact that our eyes are laterally placed so the y axis appears flipped not the x.
