Who is a slut ?
todayonthetrail.today.msnbc.msn.com
Unlike man woman has the risk of pregnancy after sexual intercourse. Since man has no such risk some men may enjoy sex with many women as they wish for pleasure. It is unfair and unequal opportunity for woman to have sex for pleasure because of this pregnacy risk. So, Ms. Fluke's idea is, why not provide women with contraceptive pills so that they can have sex without fear of pregnancy? Rush linbaugh rushed in and branded her as a slut and prostitute. Does she deserve that title? Is Rush Linbaugh a male chauvinist? Your opinion please! I want to hear.

... Rush certainly displayed his biases and his self righteous attitude about Ms Fluke ... and I think it's turning out to be an embarrassment for the Republicans. Although Rush is an "entertainer" [of sorts], he does represent much about party ... some say getting his blessing is worth much at the polls, so he's more than just a 'mere' celebrity without any viable prowess. In the end, this is a gift to the Democrats ... they will be able to replay Rush's tirade in their commercials, and they will likely gain some women's votes in the election.

Rush has many millions who agree with whatever he says. I simply point out that thirty years ago the normal
rhetoric used today was limited to a few extremists. Today is is the norm. Rush is not PC but he accurately
expresses the views and biases of the GOP.

He is quite simply a misogynist, as many hard-line conservatives are. He belongs back in the
fifties. The comments being made about women in recent times in the US will be a giant
backward step for equality of any kind if these lunatics gain the upper hand, again.

Perhaps ace you should ask your wife to decide if these are the types of politicians she wants in
power: Santorum, Romney, Gingrich, Paul! All women in the US should take a very long hard look
at these guys, and how they stand on women's rights.

There is something so wrong with America. Why does this kind of thing never happen in europe?

If this doesn't cause a reaction!........:)
The politics is a little different I would guess. Of course right wing Christianity also plays a lesser
role in Europe, the religions are more mainstream. Christianity in the US has almost become
'cultish' in the extreme, no real centrality. By this I mean 'head'. Catholics for instance have a
Pope, the Anglican Church has the Archbishop (nominally the Queen of England). There is a
massive fight going on to change the US into a 'God' society by many different sides/factions of
so called Christianity (including the Catholic Bishops!). As the mainstream Christian Churches in
Europe (and hopefully the rest of the world) are beginning to embrace women's rights (albeit very
slowly!), not so the many different Christian Churches in the US, they are pushing for backward
steps and total control of women currently via the contraception/abortion arguments that rage. I
would hazard a guess this is very much linked with the dying breed of conservatism that so far
still retains immense monetary power within the US. Hopefully sense will prevail and these
dinosaurs will not gain power politically. European women (and men) 'appear' to have better
access to across the board education in these areas. The education system in the US has
become a battleground for Christianity, fuelled by the conservative elements of society.

is a fool, an ass, and an idiot. and he is a mean spirited bastard. i do not know why anyone listens to him or cares what he says.

03-Mar-12, 07:12

Z ...
... they listen to him because he represents many of the deep-down feelings that lotsa folks (especially southern ultra-right conservative males) have. Rush will always have a following in this sense. Perhaps the silver lining is that its being exposed for what it is ... it may accelerate more moderate attitudes (and politics) in the future.

The real issue is, ' Expensive Medicine.'
www.globalpharmacycanada.com
BCP is associated with sexual intercourse and pleasure. People tend to think pleasure as sin similar to the abuse of drug when people get high. Probably, that might be the reason, Jesus was conceived without sexual intercourse, that is immaculate conception ( clean pregnancy ). Remember, without sexual pleasure life can beome extinct on earth. I believe living forms are programmed in their DNA to have sexual pleasure all from the beginning in their evolutionary pathway. Sigmund Freud, the great psychologist said that whatever we do is sexually motivated. Limbaugh had a legitimate thing to say that we cannot promote with our tax payers money to have sin and pleasure. Having said that, let me ask you a question. I joined a gym so that I can exercise, walk, jog, aerobic and other exercises indoors especially in winter when there are lot of snow outside and cold. Exercise is good for everyone and is clean. So, why can't our government give us money to have good exercise and sport? Fair enough? Gas prices are getting higher. Somebody might ask the same question. So, why can't the government subsidize gas prices to keep it lower? The problem is money. As you know there is no such thing as free lunch.
Medicines including contraceptive pills in US is higher than some other countries. So, the alternative is why don't we get medicines from other countries that sell cheaper? You can get cheaper medicine in neighboring Mexico and Canada. I don't trust the medicine from Mexico which might be inferior, fake or adulterated. The link above, globalpharmacy.com appear trustworthy. You can order Viagra, Cialis and Levitra if you have erectile dysfunction. You can compare the price difference also. I ordered it and tested it myself. It works perfectly. If girls are willing without fear of pregnancy and if you are armed with these cheap ED drugs, our world will be a paradise. Please don't debate about moral issues. I know aready. These are my thoughts.

14%-30%
this is the % of women who use bcp's for medical reasons not related to stopping pregnancy.

I've always known Rush to speak fairly and with respect towards women. I do not agree with the comments posted here. I am a fan of the man.

respectful????
I love the women's movement — especially when walking behind it." --Rush Limbaugh

"Feminism was established so as to allow unattractive women easier access to the mainstream of society." --Rush Limbaugh

"She comes to me when she wants to be fed. And after I feed her -- guess what -- she's off to wherever she wants to be in the house, until the next time she gets hungry. She's smart enough to know she can't feed herself. She's actually a very smart cat. She gets loved. She gets adoration. She gets petted. She gets fed. And she doesn't have to do anything for it, which is why I say this cat's taught me more about women, than anything my whole life." --Rush Limbaugh, on his cat

In a 1993 television broadcast, Limbaugh put on screen a picture of Socks the White House cat. He asked, "Did you know there's a White House dog?" He then put up a picture of 13-year-old Chelsea Clinton

Limbaugh said in 1994 that first lady Hillary Clinton had a "testicle lockbox" at the White House and represented "the worst characteristics of women, totally controlling, not soft and cuddly, not sympathetic, not patient. Demanding, domineering Nurse Ratched kind of thing."

Limbaugh, in a 2009 broadcast, talked about polls that showed women supporting President Obama even while suspecting he would advocate a tax increase. "They know (Obama's) lying through his teeth and they still support him. It just means this is what women have always known, 'Cheat on me, just don't tell me about it'."

Two women came forward in October of 2011 with sexual harassment allegations against Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain. Limbaugh commented: "I did ask yesterday, what's the big deal with the panel here? Do they want to synchronize their menstrual periods?"

Misogynist? - Me, phhh.. hardly - I love the ladies and know how to treat 'em. They're worth the good fight.

Rush's first comment,.. appreciatiating the view from behind - uhh, yeah. Do you have a problem with that? I guess James Bond flix are too rauchy for you as well.

it is always easy to criticize if you ignore info that contradicts what you say.

Limbaugh put on screen a picture of Socks the White House cat. He asked, "Did you know there's a White House dog?" He then put up a picture of 13-year-old Chelsea Clinton

and a 13 year old at that. now, you can respect and appreciate limbaugh, and be a fan. that is your prerogative. but to not acknowledge that he is a rude punk to women - calling fluke a slut/prostitute for advocating contraceptive coverage? calling chelsea a dog? to state that he "always speak[s] fairly and with respect towards women." that is just being blind to reality.

I'll tell you, you women. Why don't you just make it official, put on some burkas and I'll guaran-damn-tee you nobody'll touch you. You put on a burka, and everybody'll leave you alone if that's what you want."
-- The Rush Limbaugh Show November 8, 2011

“Women should not be allowed on juries where the accused is a stud."

“They’re out there protesting what they actually wish would happen to them sometimes.”
~Rush Limbaugh, on women who protest against sexual harassment, The Rush Limbaugh Show, April 26, 2004

Zorro and his fantasy
Yes, Zorro, the "children" do need to be protected. Not falsely protected as some here do. But really protected.

Protected from people who profess their "best interest" as they slowly rip away their rights, freedoms and sensibilities.

Women are not protected by that which Ms. Fluke advocates. Children are certainly not protected by that.

And you, hypocritically draw attention to a silly Rush remark - as heroes of your movement openly mock, degrade and truly endanger women as in Bill Maher's remark over the female REPORTER torn to shreds by a mob as he "jokingly" says trade her for Elisabeth Hasselback.

Listen, don't think because you advocate for free contraception your chances with the ladies improve. From where I sit you wouldn't know what to do with a beautiful woman if she was standing right in front of you - calling you out.

i am married to beautiful doctor 10 years my junior...i think i am ok in that department - lol.

as for the rest of your statements, true or false - the reality is that rush limbaugh is a misogynist, a punk, and a jerk. unless, in your book, calling women dogs, sluts, w****s, and stating that they want to be sexually harassed counts as being respectful to women.

Here kitty, kitty, kitty
So you're saying a women is only worthy of marriage if she's 10 years younger, beautiful and supports you. Based on your comment it sounds like you're a sexist or "kept". You have a lot in common with Rush's kitty.

Oh we speak of love
Interesting choice of words. If I were asked to describe "my love" the last thing that would come to mind is their profession. If I were to describe "my love" I would describe character, spirit and loyalty. If "my love" were in rags and spent all day cleaning other people's homes for a living she would still be "my love". I would bring the world to her feet. That's how I would describe "my love". That, to you people is a "misogynist" - how sad. How pathetic. Your comments are ugly and they are insincere. Your comments are meant to be self aggrandizing and they are that which you protest to hate in your utopia.
