My fellow club member's and team member's . 1st and foremost I want to say thank you to wannebekiwi and greycat57 all they have done is help me figure out how truly United we are which was my main goal starting 9 days ago . As for the personal Insults trown my way ? well let's just say some comments don't deserve to be replied too . you can't have a Rational discussion with un-rational people . Instead I'll leave this for all of us to think about . A farmer who had a quarrelsome family called his sons and told them to lay a bunch of sticks before him. Then, after laying the sticks parallel to one another and binding them, he challenged his sons, one after one, to pick up the bundle and break it. They all tried, but in vain. Then, untying the bundle, he gave them the sticks to break one by one . This they did with the greatest ease. Then said the father, Thus, my sons, as long as you remain united, you are a match for anything, but differ and separate, and you are undone . My fellow Warriors On February 28th 2006 , Precisely 1 year after our team was Created I made a Promise . I promised the fighting Warriors team would become the greatest International internet chess team in the world . I promised The fighting warriors team would be United and I promised Our team Spirit would be unlike any other Team on G.K or any other site . Do I come across as being Fanatic ? No , I'm Passionate in everything that I do . Do I come across as being Crazy ? No I'm determined in what I do . Do I come across as being a Communist ? No I'm a man of Vision . My Name is Natalino better known as Captain Achilles , Captain of the great fighting Warriors Team and by god I will not let you down . For those that look down upon me or Snarl at my dedication ? I say this to you . BRING IT ON !!! I'll just work 100 times harder , My only regret is can't look you in the eyes as I speak these words . Captain Achilles today and forever !

We're not saying we can't also be that, but the goal established to be the Number One team demands unity. As b123 (Bart) attempts to explain to the ones who won't even tolerate leadership, and as earlkarljohn (Earl) so well explains to all of us that leadership wields a two-edged sword and as np-7797 (Danny) so simply puts it: what's the big deal? Let's show the signs of unity that our Captain has established and get on with being a team. Is it just our Profile picture? We've all agreed individuality is just fine there. Look at Bart's. It's beautiful. But when we take the field, we should all have the same uniform on!
qistnix 03-Sep-07, 13:57	Personally I felt the message I received from wannebekiwi (what's in a name?) was an insult to my and my teammates' intelligence. Like we can't decide for ourselves whether or not we want to do something... Nat is doing one hell of a job and has my support for 100%.
mysticknight 16-Sep-07, 18:34	Team There is no room for "I" in team. Personally speaking our Captain has always been courteous and understanding to an extreme. Those on the team who don't wish to share in a common point of honor should not expect to sit at the same table. King Arthur (legend has it) had a round table where all were equals. Yet he was still King. We are all on equal footing here, we can speak our minds, and if we do not like the outcome then we can leave. But if we leave do it with pride and dignity. We are all adults of the Chess board and of the Fighting Warriors. No need to sling mud or opinions publicly. If I disagree with the team's captain I will take it up personally with Nat. I would not resort to writing notes to other team mates. This is childish and unacceptable behavior on a team. Thanks for letting me air my opinion in this forum. Cliff
earlkarjohn 17-Sep-07, 00:13	The spine of this team is too strong to be broken! Well said my friends, it just shows how many Leaders TFWs have in this team, and thank you for allowing Nat to LEAD! Without dispute Nat works his socks off for this team, and according to Nat he is the hardest working Captain on GameKnot, I cannot back his statement up however because I have only ever been a Fighting Warrior and never a member of any other team so it is unlikely that I ever find out Nat's statement is true or not ! But I do know that Nat works extremely hard and burns the midnight oil often for our benefit, he is also a warm and light hearted person and no doubt fun to be around. But make no mistake he is also shrewed and can be cold and calculating when needs be. A good Captain can keep his Ship firmly on course during bad weather, a GREAT Captain wields a brutal but FAIR sword at the same time. No one gets it right all the time, but I do and so do most of you back Nat 100%, because Nat is a Winner and a GREAT Captain! Now this is the last time that I will volunteer my own personal views publicly to you all regarding Nat. But my parting message here is Nat listens, he is a great listener, talk to him especially when you need to! Keep up the great work guys, I have a magnum of champagne on ice ready to open when we hit number 1, do not let me get too thirsty!!!

I remain both confident and enthusiastic as we near out goal. We are definitely a unified force that by virtue of that loyalty and devotion that helps keep us united in our fight to the top equates to an irresistible force. There is no immovable object in our path. The road ahead will inevitably have some rough spots, but with the support of each and every team member and a feeling of unity we shall reach our goal in the not-too-distant future. Our unity and team spirit are the envy of countless others. Proud to be a Fighting Warrior and looking forward to being with you my fellow team members as we march toward that number one spot with unsurpassed team loyalty and unity. Keep up your good work.
