either is fine, but I think I will go with Jim, Qh4 has my vote. I doubt we will catch him napping, but I like the pressure anyways.

My suggestion
would be first Bg5 which puts pressure on his rook. He'll move to safety by Rg6. Then we follow with Qh5?

Correction
I meant rook will move to f7.

My suggestion
is Bxf5 to take away the threat to the queen
doji

Also my vote
Bxf5, if he takes our bishop with his rook, trade the queens.

My move is 12...Rxf5.

The game link to analyse is above in doji's most recent post.

I think I should let you know that, should you decide to exchange queens, I have set a conditional move (on the analysis board game between doji and myself) to automatically recapture wit hthe knight. I think that is pretty obvious, but I am letting you know to avoid confusion.

Your move, Knights of Honour!

13. Qxd8+ Nxd8

13. O-O Qxh4

Move 15. Nh4
I'm in favor of now putting pressure on his rook.
belgje
09-Jul-09, 11:22

My suggestion
is to take the pawn with the pawn, i.e. dxc5
doji
09-Jul-09, 12:44

My suggestion: 15. Bb2
To get our rooks working together.
Nh4 hasn't got much perspective and dxc5 gives us 3 weak pawns on a row (suppose he takes on d4, we can bind our pawns again).

Now we have 3 different moves.... we will see.

Move 15 Re-assessment
I agree with dogi in furthering our development by connecting our rooks; however, Bb2 does not make good use of our bishop. I would opt for Bg5 instead. The bishop would then have control of two diagonals and he would be protected by our knight.
jbravo58d

Bb2 is not bad, if he plays 15. ... cxd4. If instead, he plays as I would, 15. ...c4, then Bb2 is not good. Bg5 is not bad.

Confused.
I apologise if I am incorrect, but I only counted 2 votes for 15.Bg5. I counted as follows:

tennesseehiker - 15.Bg5 (reassessed from 15.Nh4)
belgje - 15.dxc5
doji - 15.Bb2
jbravo58d - I think he said 15.Bg5, but I am not sure.

Please let me know if I have somehow counted incorrectly. I will not play my move until I have worked out what is happening here.

Thanks,

fatcat2.

Re: Confused
I think we only have 4 players right now. We may have to go with the majority of votes even if it's just 2 cast for a particular play. Thoughts?
doji
10-Jul-09, 10:32

Yes
That was my idea too, try to wait maximum 48 hours, but I thought two votes for a move is enough, the more because it is a vacation period now.....

If you don't agree, let me know, please.
