Confess Your Joy
CONFESS YOUR JOY!! May the scripture-based confessions below encourage you in the amazing joy of the Lord!

Nehemiah 8:10 – I eat the fat of the land and I drink what is good and sweet – I share with those who have nothing and recognize the holiness of each day. I choose not to be sad. The joy of the Lord is my strength!

Psalm 16:11 – God, You show me the path of life. In Your presence is fullness of joy and at your right hand there are always pleasures to experience!

Psalm 27:6 – So, I lift my head up and offer a sacrifice of joy to You! I sing Your praises today!

Psalm 30:5 – Sorrow will not trap me. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy always comes in the morning!

Psalm 34:1-3 – So, I choose to bless You, Lord, at all times. I choose to praise You continually. I will even brag on You! The humble will hear my words of praise and it will bring them joy. I join with others in magnifying You. God, we will all exalt Your name together!

Psalm 37:4 – I delight myself in You, Lord, and You give me the desires of my heart.

Psalm 43:4 – I go to your altar and give You my exceeding joy in praise!

Psalm 47:1 – I clap my hands and shout to You with the voice of triumph!

Psalm 51:12 – You always restore the joy of salvation. You hold me in your generous Spirit!

Proverbs 15:30 – I put a smile on my face knowing that Your Word says that a cheerful look can bring joy to the heart!

Proverbs 17:22 – A merry heart does good like medicine, but a broken spirit dries up my bones. I will laugh today knowing that joy is medicine and laughter is good for my health!

Isaiah 61:3 – God, thank You for consoling me when I hurt – You give me beauty for ashes and the oil of joy when I mourn. You put a garment of praise around me and heal the spirit of heaviness. Like a tree planted by You, I am Your righteous child and the healing of my heart will bring glory to You!


Jeremiah 29:11-13 – God, Your thoughts are good towards me. They are peaceful and not evil, to give me a future and a hope. When I call, you listen. As I seek, I find – especially when I search with all my heart!

Luke 6:22-23 – If others hate me, exclude me, revile me, and speak evil about me – for Your sake – I consider it a blessing. I actually rejoice in joy knowing that they did the same thing to the prophets. My reward in Heaven will be great!

John 15:9-12 – Joy that lasts comes from abiding in Your great love. As the Father loves the Son, so the Son loves me! I will obey and keep Your commandments. I will abide in Your love so that my joy lasts!

Acts 13:52 – Though I may be persecuted and excluded for what I believe, I refuse to lose heart. I shake the dust off of my feet and walk on! My heart is still filled with joy and the Holy Spirit!

Romans 15:13 – you are a God of hope! You fill me with joy and peace – as I believe, I overflow in hopefulness by the power of Your Holy Spirit!

Hebrews 1:9 – I love righteousness and I hate wickedness, and this choice to be on the side of righteousness is what anoints me with the oil of joy and lifts me so high.

Hebrews 13:15 – Though it is not always easy, I offer up a sacrifice of praise to You – every day and throughout my day! I acknowledge You, thank You, and confess Your holy name!

James 1:2-4 – I am joyful even through adversity because I know that the testing of my faith develops perseverance and through this I am becoming mature and complete – I will lack nothing!

James 1:5-7 – I ask for Your wisdom when I do not understand the things of life and You are faithful to give it to me, liberally and without fault-finding. When I pray for wisdom, I will simply believe and I will not doubt because double-minded thinking hinders prayers. I want answers, so I have faith in You.

1 Thessalonians 1:6 – In spite of my hurt, I welcome hearing the messages of God. I have joy that was given to me by the Holy Spirit!

1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 – I’m joyful always, I pray continually, and I give thanks in all circumstances because this is God’s will for me in Christ Jesus!

Philippians 4:4 – I rejoice in the Lord always; I command myself to “Rejoice!”

1 Peter 1:8-9 – Though I’ve never seen Jesus with my physical eyes, I believe Him with my whole heart – He is One Who has saved me and filled me with inexpressible and glorious joy!

Philippians 1:6 – I am confident of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in me will be faithful to complete it until the day of Christ’s returning!

Confess Your Peace
CONFESS YOUR PEACE!! Jesus came to this earth and went to the cross for not only our salvation, but also for our peace, joy, and relief from grief and sorrow May these scripture-based confessions help us lean on the strength of His peace!

Isaiah 9:6 – I serve Jesus and before He was even born, He was declared the Prince of Peace!

Luke 2:14 – “Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” The angels declared it and I declare it too!

Isaiah 53:3-5 – Jesus, thank You for going to the cross for my peace, joy, and relief from grief – for taking my hurt, rejection, and sorrow. You were afflicted and smitten on my behalf. You were wounded for my transgressions, bruised for my guilt and iniquities, and this desperate need for peace was laid on Your body too. By the stripes that were laid on Your back, I find healing and wholeness for my body and soul!

Isaiah 26:3 – You will guard me and keep me in perfect and constant peace as I set my mind confidently on You.

Isaiah 41:9-10 – I am chosen and not rejected. I don’t fear because, God, You are with me. I will not be dismayed, I will accept Your strength and Your help, and You will uphold me with Your righteous hand.

Isaiah 17:10-11 – Those who forget that you are the God of salvation and are not mindful that You are the rock of all strength, reap harvests of grief and desperate sorrow – but that is not me! I know You are the God of my salvation and I know You are the rock of my strength!

2 Samuel 22:33 – God, You are my strength and power, and You make my way perfect!

1 Chronicles 16:11 – I seek the Lord and His strength; my heart yearns for Him – I seek His face so that I can be in His presence continually!

1 Chronicles 16:27 – Honor and majesty are found in His presence; strength, and joy are found in His sanctuary!

1 Chronicles 29:11-13 – God, You are great, powerful, glorious, victorious, and majestic! Riches, honor, power, and might all come from You! It is in Your hands to give me greatness and strength. So, I will thank You and accept it and praise Your glorious name!

Psalm 6:6-9 – I’m tired of groaning and swimming in tears. I’m tired of being consumed with grief. Lord, I know You have heard my supplication and will receive my honest prayer.

Psalm 19:14 – Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight. Lord, You are my strength and my redeemer!

Psalm 29:11 – You give me strength and bless me with peace!

Psalm 68:6 – You set the lonely in families and lead even the prisoners to sing! But, the rebellious live in a sun scorched land!

Proverbs 10:1 – A foolish child is the heaviness of his mother. I release this heaviness to you, God!

John 14:27-28 – Jesus, when You left for the cross, You didn’t leave me without peace – you gave me your own peace. I will not let my heart be troubled or afraid. I will stop allowing myself to become agitated and disturbed; I will not permit myself to be fearful, intimidated, cowardly, or unsettled!

Romans 5:1 – I’m justified, acquitted, declared righteous, and given a right-standing with God through faith! I have peace because I have Jesus!

Romans 8:37-39 – I’m more than a conqueror through Christ Who loved me! God, I’m convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate me from Your love that is in Christ Jesus!

Galatians 5:22 – Peace is a fruit of the Spirit, and I live and walk in that peaceful Spirit!

Philippians 4:6-7 – I will be anxious for nothing! In everything, by prayer and supplication and with thanksgiving, I will let my requests be made known to You – and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard my heart and my mind through Christ Jesus!

Ephesians 6:10-11 – I will be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. I will put on the whole armor of God so that I can stand against the wiles of the devil.

Collossians 3:14-15 – Above all, I will put on love, the bond of perfection and I will let the peace of God rule my heart.

2 Corinthians 12:9 – Your grace is sufficient for me. Your strength is made perfect in my weakness. I’d rather glory in infirmity so that the power of Christ – the One Who went to the cross for my peace, joy and relief from grief, sin, sickness, and more – may rest upon me!

2 Thessalonians 3:16 – Lord, give me peace at all times and in every way – be with me now and forever!

Confess God's Word for Your Healing
Confess that you are healed! Healing is for you! It’s part of your redemption package. Use these affirmations based on the scriptures to build your faith in God’s power to heal your body. May they help you to encourage you as you believe God for your total and complete healing!

Isaiah 53:5 – Jesus was wounded for my transgressions and bruised for my sin. The chastisement for my peace was put on Him on the cross – and by His stripes I am healed!

Jeremiah 30:17 – God restores health to my body and heals all my wounds.

Psalm 91:14-16 – God has set His love upon me and delivers me. God sets me on high because I know His holy name. I call on Him and He answers me. God is with me in times of trouble – He delivers and honors me and satisfies me with long life as He continually shows me His salvation!

Psalm 103:3 – God forgives all my iniquities and heals all my diseases!

Psalm 107:20 God sent His Word and healed me – He delivers me from my own destruction!

Psalm 41:3 – The Lord strengthens me in times of illness – He sustains me when I am on my sickbed.

Proverbs 4:20-22 - I obey the Lord when He calls me His child and asks me to pay attention to His Words and listen to what He has to say. I do not let His Word depart from my eyes. I keep His Word in my heart because I know that it is life to my spirit and health to my body!

Proverbs 16:24 – I will speak pleasant words because they are like a honeycomb-sweetness to my soul and health to my bones!

Matthew 9:35 – Jesus’ ministry was filled with healing. He went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people!

Hebrews 13:8 – Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever – He heals today just as He healed in Bible times.

James 5:14-15 – When I am sick, I call for the elders of the church and let them pray over me and anoint my body with oil, in the name of the Lord. God’s Word promises that the prayer of faith will save the sick and the Lord will raise him up, and if I have committed sins, God will forgive them all!

1 Peter 2:24 – I serve Jesus Who, Himself, bore my sins in His own body when He hung on the cross so that all believers, having died to the life of sin, might be able to live free and righteous. By the stripes that were laid on Jesus’ back, I am healed!

Jesus went to the cross not only for our salvation, but also for our healing from diseases and sickness. May these scripture-based confessions help you to lean on the strength of HIS divine healing for you!

Confess God's Word

CONFIDENCE – Confess that you are who God says you are!!

Genesis 1:27 – I’m created in God’s image! I resemble my Father because He created me in His own image!

Genesis 1:28 – I’m blessed! God has put His hand of blessing on me. He has commanded me to be fruitful in all things, to multiply what I’ve been given, to fill the earth with seed, and subdue whatever rises up against me. I have dominion!

Deuteronomy 28:13 – I’m the head and not the tail! I pay attention to what God says and carefully follow His Word, and that puts me at the top – never at the bottom!

Psalm 107:2 – I’ve been redeemed and my mouth will proclaim it! God has redeemed me from the hand of the enemy and I’m saying so!

Psalm 139:13-14 – I’m the handiwork of the Lord! He created my innermost being, He knit me together in my mother’s womb, and I praise Him because He has carefully and wonderfully made my spirit, soul, and body!

Isaiah 43:1 – I’m confident! I do not fear because God has redeemed me and called me by name saying, “You are Mine.”

Isaiah 40:16 – I’m known! God has me engraved on the palms of His hands.

Matthew 5:13-14 – I’m the salt of this earth and a light in this world! I won’t lose my savor and become dull, I won’t hide who I am! I will stand out from the crowd, like a city set on a hill!

John 3:16 – I’m loved! God loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten Son – I have believed in Him and will not perish. I will have everlasting life!John 15:1-8 - I’m a branch on the True vine, Jesus Christ! I bear His fruit and when needed, He purges me so that I can bear even more. The life of God runs through Jesus and runs through me, and we are one! I follow His Word. I abide in Him and He abides in me! I will not be fruitless or worthless to His great cause! I will glorify the Father and bear much fruit! I am a disciple of Christ!

John 15:16 – I’m chosen! Jesus said, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask Father in My name He may give you.”

John 16:33 – I am at peace and cheerful! Jesus said, “In this world, you will have tribulation but be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world.” Through Jesus’ victory, I have victory!

Acts 1:8 - I’m a great witness! The Holy Spirit has come upon me and given me boldness and power to tell others about Christ!

2 Corinthians 5:7 – I walk by faith! I’m not moved by what I see, but by what I believe!

2 Corinthians 5:17 - I’m a new creature! What’s old has passed away and through Christ, all things become new!

Romans 6:11 – I’m dead to sin! I’m alive in Christ!

Romans 8:15-16 – I don’t fear! When I got saved, I didn’t receive a spirit of repression that leads to fear, but I got the Spirit of adoption that makes me cry out, “Abba, Father!” The Holy Spirit recognized that I’m God’s child and I do too!

Romans 8:37 – I‘m more than a conqueror! Through Christ Jesus, who loves me, I win!

Romans 12:2 – I’m different! I don’t conform to the corrupt ways of the world. Instead, I choose to be transformed by the renewing of my mind to the Word – and I’m proving the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God!

Galatians 2:20 – I’ve been crucified with Christ! It’s not the old me that lives, but God in me! Now, the life I live, I live by faith in Jesus, the One who gave Himself for me!

Galatians 4:7 – I’m not a servant, I’m a son! I’m an heir of God through Christ!

Galatians 5:22-23 - I have the fruit of God’s Spirit in me! I have a spirit of love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, meekness, temperance and faith!

Ephesians 1:19-21 - I have power! The same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in Heaven over all others, for all ages, is in me!

Ephesians 2:6-7 - I have a high position! Through Christ, God has raised me up and seated me with Him in heavenly places! Through Christ, God continues to show me the exceeding riches of His grace – it’s His kindness towards me in action, every day and forever!

Confess the Word and Allow God to Guide Your Steps! There are decisions to make and paths to take, and confessing what the Word has said about God’s divine power to guide His children can help you to gain the faith and inspiration you need to move forward with confidence. Through the Word and Christ’s promised gift – the Holy Spirit – you can make the right choices in life. Use scripture-based confessions like these to build your faith in God’s power to guide you!

Joshua 1:8 – The Word of God will not depart from my mouth, but I will focus and meditate on what it says day and night, so that I can observe and do all that is written in it! Only then will I be able to make my prosperous and only then will I have good success!

Nehemiah 9:19-21 – Lord in Your great mercy, You did not forsake the children of Israel as they went through the wilderness – and You will not forsake me! You gave them light in the darkness, and You will light my path too! You gave them food and water each day, and you also provide for me! You sustained them so that they lacked nothing. I know You are sustaining and blessing me!

Psalm 23:1-3 – The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. You make me to lie down in green pastures and lead me beside the still waters. You restore my soul and lead me in the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake!

Psalm 23:4-6 – Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil – because You, oh God, are with me! Your rod and staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies, You anoint my head with oil – my cup runs over! Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in Your house forever!

Psalm 25:4-5 – Show me Your ways. Teach me Your paths. Lord, lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation and on You I wait all the day!

Psalm 31:3 – You are my Rock and my Fortress! For Your name’s sake, God, I know that You will lead and guide me!

Psalm 32:8 – Lord, You promise that you will instruct me and teach me in the way that I should go. With Your eye, You will guide me!

Psalm 37:23 – My steps are ordered by You, Lord, and I delight in going Your way!

Psalm 48:14 – You are my God, my God forever and ever! You will be my guide, even to death.

Psalm 73:23-24 – You are continually with me, You hold me by my right hand. You will guide me with Your counsel and afterward, receive me to glory!

Psalm 119:105 – Lord, Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path!

Proverbs 3:5-6 – I will trust in you, Lord, with all my heart. I will not lean on my own understanding. But, in all my ways I will acknowledge You and You shall direct my paths!

Proverbs 6:22-23 – Lord, I will keep Your commandments and I will not forsake the law of God, I will secure them to my heart and put them around my neck. Wherever I go in life, they will lead me. Whenever I sleep, they will keep me. When I am awake, they will speak to me. For Your commandment is a lamp and Your whole teaching is a light – Your correction and instruction are the way of life!

Proverbs 12:26 – I am righteous and my works are excellent! The way of the wicked will not seduce me!

Proverbs 16:3 – I commit my works to the Lord! I trust them wholly to Him! He causes my thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and that’s how my plans are established and succeed!

Proverbs 23:19 – I hear You, God, and I will be wise knowing You make my way perfect!

2 Samuel 22:33 – You are my strength and my power, God, and You make my way perfect!

Isaiah 28:29 – My Lord is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance!

Isaiah 30:21 – God will be with me just like He was with the children of Israel . I will hear a word behind me saying “This is the way, walk in it” – and I will walk that way. When I turn to the right hand or turn to the left, God will be with me, leading me where I should go!

Isaiah 48:17 – You are my Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel! God, it’s YOU who teaches me how to profit and it’s YOU Who leads me in the way that I should go!

Matthew 15:13-14 – Everything planted that You didn’t plant – God, uproot it! I do not want to be a blind person led by a group of blind people! I do not want to fall into a ditch in life!

Luke 6:40 – I know that a disciple is not above his master – You are my Master, Lord, and You will help me to walk perfect, like You!

James 1:5 – The wisdom of the Lord is mine! When I lack it, I will ask for it and God, You will be faithful to give it to me – liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproach or faultfinding! The Spirit of truth has come, just as You have promised, Lord!

John 16:13 – Thank the Lord for sending Your Holy Spirit to guide me in ALL truth!

John 16:14-16 - Lord, the Holy Spirit will not speak of Himself but, like You, He says only what He hears from the Father – and I thank you that the Holy Spirit is showing things to me! I thank You that He is glorifying You, Lord! He’s receiving what is Yours and showing it to me! Everything the Father owns, You own – and the Holy Spirit is taking it and showing it to me too! I know that all of this is possible because You came, died on the cross, and went to the Father – and You sent the Holy Spirit back to guide me, just as You promised!

In Times of Trouble
In times of trouble God’s trusting child may say:

“I am here by God’s appointment. He brought me here. It is by His will I am in this difficult place; in that I will rest.”

“My soul waiteth for the Lord…for with the Lord there is mercy, and with Him is plenteous redemption.” Psalm 130:6-7

“I am in His care: He will keep me in His love and give me all that I need in this trial to behave as His child.”

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10

“I am under His training. He will make the testing a blessing, teaching me the lessons He intends for me to learn, and working in me the grace He intends to give.”

Protection
Confess that You Are Protected by the LORD! Abide under the protective shadow of the Almighty! Use scripture-based confessions like these to build your faith in God’s power of protection. Although the Word tells us that God is not a respecter of persons, He is noticeably a respecter of faith and obedience! So, keep your conscience clean and live right before Him. Honor God with your faith and pursue a life of obedience to Him. In good times and in bad, let His Word and His Spirit be your guide knowing that, in all times, God will be faithful to you!

Genesis 15:1 – The Lord is my protective shield and my abundant compensation – and my reward for having faith in Him is exceedingly great!

Deuteronomy 1:29-31 – I am not afraid! The Lord, my God, goes before me! He will fight for me, just as He fought successfully for others! As He carried the children of Israel in the wilderness, as a man carries his son, God will also be faithful to lead, guide, and carry me!

Deuteronomy 33:27 – You are my refuge and dwelling place, God, and I live underneath Your everlasting arms!

Deuteronomy 33:28 – Drive out the enemy, Lord, like You did for the children of Israel all those years ago, so that I can dwell in safety – in a land that is blessed with great provision!

Deuteronomy 33:29 – I will be happy because Your blessing is on me, God! You are saving me and being a shield for me each day – Your enemy submits in obedience to You, God, and Your truth marches on in the highest of places!

2 Samuel 22:2-4 – You are my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer! The horn of my salvation and my stronghold and Savior, You save me from all violence! I call on your name in praise and You save me!

Job 1:10 – I pray a hedge of protection around me and all my house and thank you for blessing the work of my hands and increasing my substance!

Psalm 3:6 – I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people who have set themselves against me because I know that You, God, will arise and save me!

Psalm 4:8 – In peace, I will lie down and sleep, for You, Lord, alone make me to dwell in safety and confident trust!

Psalm 9:9 – You are a protective high tower for the oppressed and a refuge and a stronghold in times of trouble, such as high cost, destitution, and desperation!

Psalm 18:29 – God, with You, I can run through a troop and leap over a wall.

Psalm 27:1 - Lord, you are my light and my salvation – whom shall I fear? Lord, you are the strength of my life – of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalm 27:2-5 – If the wicked come to eat me up, they will stumble and fall! Regardless of who tries to encamp against me, my heart won’t fear! Though they may war against me, in this will I be confident: There is only one thing have I wanted and only one thing that I still seek – that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to see the beauty of Him and to be in His temple! For in my time of trouble, God hides me in the secret place of His tabernacle. He sets me up upon a rock!

Psalm 55:22 – I cast my burden upon the Lord knowing that He will sustain me – He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved!

Psalm 56:4 – I will praise God’s Word and put my trust in Him! I will not fear what flesh and blood can do to me!

Psalm 91 – READ THE WHOLE THING AND BE BLESSED!!

Psalm 91:5 – I will not be afraid of the terror by night or the weapons by day!

Psalm 121:2-8 – My help comes from the Lord – the One Who made Heaven and earth! He won’t go to sleep when I’m hurting! He’s my keeper, my shade, and He will preserve me from all evil – He will preserve me as I’m going out and as I’m coming in, now and for evermore!

Psalm 145:19-21 – God will fulfill my desire because I respect Him, and He will hear my cry and save me – He preserves those He loves and my mouth will speak His praise forever!

Proverbs 3:21-26 – Sound wisdom and discretion – I will not let them depart from my eyes. They will be life to my soul and grace to my neck! Because I use sound wisdom and discretion, I walk safely as I go, and I do not stumble. When I lie down, I’m not afraid. My sleep is sweet. I do not get afraid of sudden terror. Isaiah 43:1-2 – God, you created me and formed me, and I will not be afraid because You have redeemed me! You have called me by my name. You have said, “You Are Mine!” So, when I pass through waters and rivers, they will not overtake me. When I walk through the fire, I will not be burned and the flames will not scorch me –You are my protector!

Zechariah 2:5 – You will surround me with protection – You will set a wall of fire around me and my family that nothing can penetrate!

Matthew 6:13 – You lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil, for Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever, Amen!
