rajulyra 11-Jun-09, 01:09	Phil plays the Harmonica While my son was stationed in Iraq I got pretty lonely.One day his wife,who lives in Cleveland Oh,called me on one of them celluponies and it kept breaking up, but as best as I could make out,she ask me if I would like to come down there and go hear Phil play the harmonica.Well sir I said sure. So she came and got me and took me to this big old barn.When we went inside I was amazed. There was this big old haymow with chairs on it and just a little below more chairs. Well we sat down and I looked around and could see that the other folks was a lot better dressed than me. Than there was a stir and a whole bunch of people come out on the haymow floor and they was all carryin chunks of wood or some funny lookin milk jugs. Well sir they sat down and started makin the darnedest screechin noise by pullin some twigs across these chunks of wood they had. I noticed they was strings streched from one end to the other and daughter in law said they was cat gut. Well cryin out loud no wonder they was screechin.I felt kinda sorry for them folks,their fingers kept jumpin around like they ha St Vitis dance or somethin. I think these folks did a lot of drinkin. One feller had a big long straw in his chunk of wood and he pulled a lot on it and the guys with them funny milk jugs was liftin them up an takin long swigs. Well sir the noise got so bad that security musta heard them and the sent out this really strange feller and he had a stick that he stated shakin at at them and the noise got a lot better. After a good while they was so tired they stopped altogether. Daughter in law said they were going to take intermission. Now I dont know what kind of drug that is but i hoped it would help the ones with bad fingers and maybe sober the rest up a little. Daughter asked me if I was tired of this and would I like to leave. I said sure, Phil hadn't showed up anyway. Probably couldn't stand the noise either.
