We immediately understand that the Club THINK rules will be easy for most to follow and impossible to follow for others, but the vast majority of you are cordially invited for a tryout. Club rules: 1: All Club THINK members will be on perpetual trial ---- possibly to Infinity and beyond. 2: All club members are a Photon, Einstein, Newton, Gauss, Mohammad, Dr. Taha, Gandhi, Wilt Chamberlain, Lord-Shiva or Jesus until determined otherwise by the club members. 3: All references to satan, his evil place or his followers shall not be capitalized. 4: We will speak only the Truth, what we believe to be true, what we hope to be true or what we think might be found to be true in the unknown, currently non-existent future 5: All trolls will be directed to another club, 6: We will be driven to apply Scientific format to the extent of our abilities and understanding, and we will recognize that everything Natural is a phenomena. This does not mean that colloquial is not encouraged. 7: All discovered typos and other forms of comment errors shall be openly discussed among club members. 8: We will try to teach each other about what we know, suspect, theorize in, question the validity of, believe in and/or THINK about. 9: Iinapprop0riate commentary will not be tolerated among club members even if it's found in another club. Finally: Let us THINK about what Descartes was maybe doing when he said: "I think therefore I am". It's philosophical and quite limited in it's scope, but it's true and profound in a way because a mere position reversal of the words "think" and "am" within the sentence would make the statement untrue. "I am therefore I think" is false because the vast, vast majority of our magnificent Cosmos does not THINK --- the analogy also seems to be a fit for some of us humans. | |
