| Description: | By invitation or application,you are welcome to join this exclusive chess club.The idea behind this club is to help improve your chess game through much deeper advanced theory,study of both regular and irregular openings,point value fluctuations of the pieces,psychology,ploys and advanced insight into parts of the game you may not have considered in the past,placing you a step above the other players.Book study advice and other topics will eventually be covered as well.Past GK forum topics will also be brought back to life and discussed in more detail.So whether your a novice player,expert or even a master,there will eventually be something in this club to help you out.It is my firm opinion that there is no other chess club on GK that has anywhere near the wealth of chess information and theory as this club has. . What sets this club above the other clubs is that its "inner strength" of outpouring chess knowledge will be generated from my viewpoints as senior master with 50 years of OTB,correspondence and postal experience.Whatever the chess question is,simple or complex,it will most probably be answered in this club,and if not,the club members or myself will research and find the answer(s) for you. . In addition,ANY subjects that are not related to chess can be discussed in this club with the EXCEPTION of politics,religion,sexual orientation,transgenders, ect.There are other clubs for those fine subjects, but not here.My club is primarily for chess and improving.I will not be here to constantly moderate or police those members who get involved in the controversial and heated debates on those subjects. . Take some time to introduce yourself when you arrive. And no,that is NOT me in that picture to the right! The butler symbolically represents the "serving up" of a 5 star chess club. | |
