too easy

Is there such a thing as too easy? Only someone who doesn't know how to play chess could fail to solve this one. The 71% solve rate is baffling, unless it's because a lot of people gave up after a couple of moves because they couldn't be bothered.

Easy, mainly because there is only a very limited number of things White can do to prevent being mated himself.

I think the very low solve percentage (69%) is because

people don't understand why this puzzle is mate in 5 and not in 3 moves
For me at least this was the hard thing.....
