Doesn't QxR work?

After QxR, Qd3++ is unstoppable. Black can't move any pieces but his knight, bishop, or h pawn, all to no avail.

oh.

Oh I see. Qd3 is not mate, if black doesn't move the bishop, because KxN. My 'test' of my theory included black playing BxR, which gives white's knight protection.

Wow! Quadruple Pin!

I totally didn't see this one. If the Black king takes White's knight on d5, it sets up a quadruple pin, allowing White's other knight to occupy the e3 square for checkmate!

Variations

White mates in two moves, regardless of the response from Black.
Needed double figure 'No, try again' notices before reaching the right first move.

Strangely I got this one fairly quickly, after seeing that the N on d5 was unprotected, Moving that N is out of the question, because it leavesb4 and c3 as escape squares, so I thought "Hmmm, if 1...Kxd5, how will White mate? The only candidate mating piece is the N on f2.
Admittedly that final mate in counterintuitivebecause there seem to be just too many black pieces attackinge3 - but they are all pinned, as observed by scottsquatch.
