It is a nice solution. Perhaps it is my blood-thirsty nature but I'd be tempted, in a position like this, to use the Knight at e3 to Fork and take whites' rook out of the picture before movign for a mate...

It is not a desire born from need starforce, simply a want to annihilate LOL It is an aspect of my play style I am trying to overcome - it is why I sometimes find puzzles like this challenging - I tend to be preoccupied with 'mopping up' before closing.

My end game is just terrible. Mopping up is a good way to put it. I like as little action on the board when it comes to closing time. (unless all that action comes from me)
I find queens especially distracting and try to exchange them as early as possible.
