New to Me
I liked it because I didn't instantly see the ep capture while trying checks on the long diagonal and nearly diverted to checking out other lines when a few extra brain cells kicked it just in time.

Either the queen or the bishop can give checkmate.

Fun
Not actually as easy as it looks as taking the passed pawn doesn't occur to you for some time..a novel finish ...nice style..

Poor puzzle
My problem was: is it Qe4+ or Be4+ ? I couldn't find any difference. A puzzle should have only one correct first move.

Tougher than it looks
A puzzle that incorporates the totally unexpected (in this case, en passant) is nothing less than beautiful. Sorry, WARDH, but you've got to get over the minutiae, dude.

puzzle orthodoxy
whether @scottsquatch likes it or not, the criticism of @wardh is valid. A puzzle with multiple first moves is considered by puzzle literati to have a poor construction. It is not minutiae to consider such things.

I spent a couple of minutes
trying to figure out which would work--the bishop or the queen. I finally decided to just try the bishop.

I wasn't sure whether the queen first would have worked too until I checked the comments.

A puzzle with multiple opening moves is called "cooked".

Not mate but en passant is the highlight here
Of course checkmate is the end result but the point to note that it is en passant which is conspicous here.

Two solutions is a bit of a flaw.
I saw the idea very quickly, but spent a bit of extra time because one expects a puzzle to have only one solution. But it was clear that the bishop or queen check worked equally well, so I shrugged and played the queen.

The puzzles on this site allow for two "violations" of the proverbial rules for
chess problems. Both multiple solutions and illegal positions are fairly commonplace. That's simply how it seems to be on this site.
