Hint should be removed from this one
The hint made it a lot easier! It's though but not when you know where you are heading to.

Tricky, cute but not very difficult
There is no magic to this puzzle. It's tricky, cute but rather straight forward

Never would of thought of that...
Definetly not my style to sacrifies pieces like that but it worked. This was actually pretty difficult...

sacrifice pays
To be honest I would usually not sacrifice the queen to ultimately bring about mate too much can go wrong. Although I found this puzzle pretty easy as I know what I am doing regarding positional play. I found better moves that led to mate without sacrifice though even though it takes a tad longer.

my best moves
sorry, I left my best moves out but here is my solution:

Bc3-e1 first, then Qd3-a3. In the opponents 2nd move even Qxknight on e6 gives him a bad position wit e4xb5 an automatic mate and their best way out b6-b5 leads to the opponent still being under check by the pawn with a b5xc6 follow up, as the king can only move to b7 on the first check move, ultimately leading to their bishop being taken and very soon in a checkmate position. At least the queen survives. As mentioned its all about positional play. I hope this helps.

Cheers John
