Much easier than the present 25% seems to suggest, I think.

Once you see that BxQ doesn't do it but that the Q is pinned, the correct move seems quite obvious.

Nice tactical exercise, I thought.

There aren't many candidate moves, because most fail to the simple 1. ...Qxa1, but there is an imaginative defensive try for Black, which has an even better answer:

it was a challenging puzzle, as i thought it was something to do with the discovered check, the Rg2 looks to simple to be a solution, but after realizing that the opponent had nothing to stop it, i knew how to finish it even the last mate had me thinking because its counter intuitive to go towards threat.

Somehow I found this quite difficult...maybe because of t he both horizontal and vertical activity of white's rook.

very easy 1.5 stars

an exercise in visualizing the potential value of piece in spite of the fact that it is pinned - of course I am referring to the white rook here.

Fun...

Took a few mins but a nice exercise in mating...Much better than the idiotic artificial hard puzzle today...I like a bit of tradition..Nice composition..

I think it’s the pin combined with a large number of possible responses that can make this seem tricky. Easy if you see it quickly, otherwise..
