The symmetry of the position suggests the solution but still a good composition.

The almost complete symmetry of the initial position strongly suggests that 1...Kd5 will be followed by something from White that produces a symmetrical position. Nevertheless I still required a hint.
It had to be one or more promotions to knight, because most potential queen mates are thwarted by the presence of that annoying d6 pawn.
