If you are in an immediate risk of running out of time in any of your games (i.e. no time remaining on the clock, and the game would have been lost by time-out otherwise), a 5-day emergency postponement will be automatically triggered for your account.

The emergency postponement will NOT be triggered if:

• another emergency postponement was triggered for your account less than 1 year ago (4 months for premium membership subscribers)
• or a vacation flag is already set for your account
• or you do not have any more vacation days remaining for your account

If you need more than 5 days, you can manually postpone your games for a longer period at any time during or after the emergency postponement (subject to all other limitations as described in the postponement rules).

The emergency postponement counts against your yearly vacation days as any other postponement.
