Is there a problem with any of GameKnot pages? Does it seems to never finish loading or show a "script error"?
This usually happens when the web browser is interrupted or fails to download a page component, which causes
an incomplete file to end up in the cache, causing problems. Here a few things you can try to fix the problem:
» Reload the page with the issues by pressing Shift+F5 keys or Ctrl+R keys at the same time (Command+R for Macs).
» Press the following button which will reload most commonly used page components:
» Clear the web browser's cache & cookies. This is usually the most effective way to fix all sorts of problems:
» Make sure to update/upgrade your web browser to the latest available version.
If it didn't help, try switching to a different web browser to see if it helps.
We routinely test our website with the latest versions of the following web browsers:
Chrome and
Firefox, and recommend using the latest version of either of them for the best experience.
» Restart your computer by shutting it down completely (i.e. powering it down) and starting up again.
» Temporarily disable all third-party plug-ins and extensions you might have installed for your web browser,
to make sure they are not interfering in any way.
» Check your computer for viruses, spyware and other malware,
as they can be interfering with your web browser and causing all sorts of problems.
» If you are using Microsoft Windows (XP/Vista/etc.), please make sure to promptly download and install all the
latest patches from Microsoft Windows Update.
» Please do not skip any of these steps even if they seem unimportant or unlikely to be the cause of the problem —
they are not just random suggestions, but real solutions that we have collected over the years.
