Block all messages option?

Would it be possible to have an "option" to block all incoming messages to my message center if I chose to?Excluding GK messages of course.Ignore lists are fine,but this is not the same as as a player wanting to simply not receive ANY messages,atleast for as long as they desire.
Some players may simply want complete privacy,or not be bothered by other player inquiries on different subjects ect.Then if you don't respond back,sometimes the message sender feels you are being rude.To avoid this,the message sender will then simply receive a "general" message that the player is...."not accepting any messages at this time".Not accepting any messages at all isn't being rude,its just stating that the player simply does not want to accept any "calls"for the time being!Better than placing individual players on an ignore list,which can be even more time consuming and notta nice!

I think it is sort of a good idea.But opinions will vary,of course!

Some masters get tons of messages unlike "others" and cannot respond to all the "mail".
So it would have of course,nothing to do with being sociable or not,if one does not respond.It is actually the opposite,that is being MORE "polite"by NOT accepting any messages for the general GK player pool,atleast at intervals when a player might be busy,sick,desire privacy,meditation,leaving GK for months or years,or a host of many other reasons,including but not limited to simply not wanting to answer messages or read them.People turn off their answering machines at home for a reason.And that does not mean that they are not being sociable.It actually might be justifiably HARDER,NOT EASIER to respond to messages for many reasons.
So not accepting any "calls"or messages,especially if they are in bulk form,would be in essence a good "optional"click idea to alert a message sender,rather than place someone on an ignore list.

Again,opinions vary.But I think it is a good idea in certain circumstances.I don't expect it to get implemented,but I thought i'd bring it up anyway!

....and let me add to my above message that anyone that has stayed in hotel rooms many times like me,knows what it means to put a "do not disturb" sign on the door knob,while one is doing whatever they are doing.So by analogy this would not fit into the extrapolated catagorized idea that someone is "not" being sociable by hanging a notice on the door that they don't want anyone to knock or enter their private room.By similar analogy this also includes messages in someone's message center on GK.There are actually alot of players who may chat in the forums regarding a specific subject,but do not want to be personally bothered when other players might possible "follow them"into their private messaging center to continue on a subject that was meant and designed to be discussed in that "large forum hall",and not in their private messaging center,even if the intentions are good.

So again,as Patrick Swayze said in the movie called...Road House...."Opinions vary".

To only accept messages from people on your friend's list as well?
