You can click on a country to see a ranking list of its players. Also the stats are no longer from players seen online during the last 90 days, but: "Active rated players: (20+ finished games, last time online less than a year ago, updated nightly)" |

gameknot.com When you start a new mini-tournament, GK automatically adds in the end its Latin number. i.e. if I were to start a mini-tournament now, its title would be "heinzkat's mini-tournament IX" and the next one "heinzkat's mini-tournament X" and then "heinzkat's mini-tournament XI". I wonder if they got the L's, C's, D's and M's programmed in as well - anybody who has hosted loads of mini-tournaments care to check it? |

Aha ... VERY Interesting... Conditional MOVES~! *** Starting from move 12 of an ongoing game; utilizing the assumption that my opponent will choose to sac his Queen and two pieces for a pawn in his next three moves ... I then proceeded to plug in some really top-notch (~LOL~) game finishing Conditional Moves, and it accepted them clear up to move 34~! Probably further, but that is where I stopped. *** And then to see if it would add another line of similar length, I input another whacky Conditional variation up to move 35. The system saved that one as well, and activated both. *** That's fantastic. Now my Question is: Will it take more than 10 Conditional Variations>? If so, how many ?! |

GK Database This is a database of 921,988 chess games played online on GameKnot since 2000. Only the games between players rated 1600 and above are present in this online chess games database. Unrated games, games that ended in time-out or finished in less than 5 moves are excluded. It can be used as a chess opening database or an opening book. gameknot.com |

Conditional Moves ... Also notice that it will also warn you if you have put a move in a conditional line that contradicts the reply you previously entered for that sequence. Neat. It would be great if the puzzle entries had these two features. |

Baron... That is exactly when it turns red. "It would be great if the puzzle entries had these two features." The puzzle application automatically detects if the position has occurred before in one of the variations and skips it. |
