Club takeover question

I would like to keep a club running in memory of the club owner, who recently passed away.

My understanding is that the club will close when his membership is not renewed.

Please could someone advise or assist?

Sorry to hear that. As far as I know, only the club owner can renew the membership, it can't be passed on to someone else. The best thing that can be done is to start a new club, perhaps in memory of the previous club and owner, but I don't have any other solutions I know of.

It would take some work,but you could actually start a new club and have it look exactly
the same by copy/paste every thread/post in the two pages that the club in question has.
It would be a new owner,but the same club like a mirror.Even all members could chip in
for the first year as an option and send or Paypal to the new club originator a few Dollars/Euro's.
Many clubs have hundreds of pages,not two pages,so it might take a few days/weeks but not
much more time to accomplish the job.As to who does the work and who pays for another year
club fee(one or all),that is up to the members of the present club who are still kicking.
