No sound when using Gameknot in Linux / Ubuntu
Does anyone know how to activate the sound when using Ubuntu as a computer operating system?

Which sounds are you referring to? I'm not aware of hearing any sounds from Gameknot when using either Windows or Linux. Of course, that may just be because they're the last thing on my mind! Example...?

Gameknot Blitz has a sound option.
To see how to activate it:
Open the Blitz window and look for: Options > Sound Effects
When I had MS Windows, Blitz sounded when a move was made. The sound stopped working when I switched to Ubuntu. If I don't have the sound, I have to stare at the screen too much.

I guess you'll have to install a sound plugin for your browser

I found that and it was fine. I'm using Linux Mint and Firefox - I think you have to have a Linux version of Quicktime installed.
