Question about conditional moves
When setting conditional moves , is it possible to set more than one line at a time , and if so , how ?.

Something like this ...
Suppose you have a game going where you are BLACK, and these moves are made so far:
1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6
****************
So then you can enter your first conditional move line by making the moves and setting:
(IF) 3.Bb5 a6 4.Bxc6 dxc6 5.O-O f6
***************************
After you set that line then it should give you the current position after 2...Nc6 again. So if you want to add a conditional for a different move 5 by white, you repeat reentering every move up till there again, then put in the altered White move 5 & your response to it:
(IF) 3.Bb5 a6 4.Bxc6 dxc6 5.d4 exd4 (and Set that)

or instead you could have entered this, adding even more:
(IF) 3.Bb5 a6 4.Bxc6 dxc6 5.d4 exd4 6.Nxd4 c5 (Set)
***************************************
If you want, make all the moves for another line:
3.Bb5 a6 4.Bxc6 dxc6 5.Nc3 f6 (Set)
********************************
And you put in a line for if he does not play Exchange Ruy:
3.Bb5 a6 4.Ba4 Nf6 5.d3 d6 (Set)
**************************
and another to reply to a different move 3, you show a Two Knights Def:
3.Bc4 Nf6 (set)
****************************

So then in the end, what you will have is a Conditional Move List looking like this:

3.Bb5 a6 4.Bxc6 dxc6 5.O-O f6
3.Bb5 a6 4.Bxc6 dxc6 5.d4 exd4 6.Nxd4 c5
3.Bb5 a6 4.Bxc6 dxc6 5.Nc3 f6
3.Bb5 a6 4.Ba4 Nf6 5.d3 d6
3.Bc4 Nf6
*********

Now that is the orderly way to do it, but you could have entered any of those lines in any order and you would still have the same Cond's set. I hope that helps and does not confuse the issue more. It really is a simple process to Do, but difficult to explain. Just remember you Can remove any lines you do not want, before you opponent makes his move.

If he should happen to make a move that you have not set a Cond for, while you are in the process of trying to set them, it will refuse to set and inform you that you cannot Set since it is then "your move". Like if he played 3.Nc3 it just refuses any Cond you were trying to enter at that moment and removes the ones you already set since none were for 3.Nc3

PS// A good tip ...
for the first time you try to enter multiple lines; would be to write them all done first. Review for correctness what you have written. Then enter those lines. If you like to be safe on it. Good luck Chessfriend
