Chess interface programs similar to gameknot analysis
Do anybody knows which chess interface program has similar analysis as gameknot post-game analysis. I have Arena but I can not find a way to analyze my pgn games so that it would show me evaluation of every move (for example + 0,50 or -2,13) and would show me 1 or 2 better alternative moves with continuation...

Possibly check with USCF sales online. They have a few post game analysis software packages that may help you out. Also, any modern chess program like Fritz 12 can help evaluate a game(after it is over),but you would have to manually plug in the moves and can check move for move that way for things like +.50 or -2.30 ect ect on move analysis.Atleast the old Fritz you could, perhaps its improved by now?

I'm not sure, but I understand that all the programs in the Fritz series have already long had a feature that ranks a number of best move options after every move as the game is analysed. However, bear in mind that I don't own any of these programs personally.

Perhaps you are correct, maca,I don't know myself.I owned an old fritz program years ago and gave it away. You either had to go through the game,or perhaps in the window it did list the individual fractional analysis for each move in its entirety.Come to think about it,it probably did,but that must have been 8 years ago or so,so I don't remember.
But,i'm sure there are much better ones out there now.Whether it showed alternate moves...perhaps?I would assume so!I'm sure ebay has some old programs like fritz that you can buy for next to nothing.

Pherhaps of interest
remi.coulom.free.fr < it calculates your elo rating from your games that are in in pgn file format

and i think this here is nice to if you like to analyze your games online.

Personally I prefer Shredder11 or Fritz10 but ChessMaster 10th Edition does offer an analysis feature with evaluation of each move. Since it is not a new program anymore, you should be able to get it very cheap, I think.
