Some people are born dudes, some people become dudes whilst others have dudeness thrust upon them. The vast majority of people will never be dudes regardless of how hard they try - be proud ChessDudes, you are the fortunate few!

Necessary attributes for all ChessDudes:
- must be a dude (gender non-specific)
- must love chess
- a sense of humor (if you've got no sense of humor but are funny looking that is ok)
- good personal hygiene (optional)
- gender, weight, political preference, skin color, age, height are all necessary but I don't care what they are
- only those with a good attitude and a team focus need apply
- I prefer paid members but will consider all applicants fairly - bribes gratefully accepted
- non-paying gk site members must have completed a minimum of 50 games without any timeouts to be considered for membership of ChessDudes - family and friends of current ChessDudes are exempted from having to satisfy this condition
- we hate The Eagles, man

* Play the best chess you can; always show respect to your team-mates and your opponents; have fun; and, NO TOLERANCE FOR TIMEOUTS!
* We don't take ourselves too seriously but we do try to take our chess seriously
* ChessDudes don't roll on Shabbos
* Check into the team forum regularly to keep up with team news and discussions gameknot.com
* All ChessDudes must have at least two active team games at any given time unless your vacation flag is set. Please let chilliman or one of the other captains know if this is not possible.
* New team members will be limited to a max of ten team games in their first six months of team membership.
* Timeouts - they hurt the team - should you have unexplained timeouts in team games you may be removed without warning so please contact chilliman directly to discuss - you have been warned! I really don't want to send ChessDudes Head of Security netstv over for a quiet 'chat' - you don't want that!
* All dudes to be added to friends list of team captains.
