At the very least, down a rook and a knight, white could've won back the exchange instead of losing his bishop for knight. But the game is over here anyway. White had a poor understanding of the position, got desperate and made an unsound sacrifice.

Right on all counts ethan, i did get desperate and i didn't calculate properly and i had a very poor understanding positionally. half the game i may aswel have been blindfolded the amount of bumbling i did, but you gotta give tag credit, he done me good and proper, still theres always the rematch!

I have to confess; even i wouldn't be capable of turning this one around... if u try a sacrifice, you should at least make sure it has some chance of working, even if you not capable of working out whether or not it's completely sound.
