The commonest mistake on the board: overlooking retrograde diagonal moves. Both sides miss this one!

?? This loses for black, at once. 32...Qxe5 would still be winning for black since the Q could come back and threaten mate. But, with this move, however, you can and will win the Queen, at once.

Winning. But even better was 33.Qf6ch Kh5 34.Rf5ch Kg4 35.Qg5#.

35.Rd7ch was also very strong.

Congratulations! Black certainly had a few chances to change the course of the game, though.

Black could've won if had played a move several moves earlier, and if he had taken the Q, first. Missing these opportunities is what costed him the game.

So many blunders.

A lot of mistakes, sure, the exploitation of which could have been decisive. Both sides were presented with great winning chances. But this was a very complicated game, with all sorts of things happening. It is very easy to overlook even quite simple ideas or plans in a position that is so good (or bad) that almost any move looks as good (or bad!) as another. goldmedal: keep playing games like this. Such games can only improve your tactical vision, and eliminate the 'one-mover' oversights.
