I don't play many gambits as I don't like giving away pawns but I particularly like this variation with 4 . . g5 as black seems to have reasonable compensation. {black has given up a pawn but is threatening to immediately force the Knight from f3} {hoping for Nxg6 hxg6 opening the h file . .…

I try to play a gambit 80% of the games I play and this is a nice example of that. The Bird's opening. I don't encounter it very often, but I now a gambit against it: The From's gambit.
