The thing about that game was that it led to an early rook ending. It was not until it reached that stage of the game that gradually the scales tilted in my favour, and she resigned with material still level, but with Black (me) holding all the aces. While the proper result of this game probably should have been a draw, it demonstrates how tactics can continue from this phenomenon into the very late middlegame.
