lord_shiva 16-Oct-19, 12:26	Anne McClain I watched Anne give a talk to Gonzaga Prep (a local Catholic high school) from aboard the ISS a number of months ago (a few weeks before her return). It was awesome, and she was great. Recently her breakup with her spouse made news, and SOME local schools refused to participate in another similar program. Very disappointing, as the astronaut spoke to the school in person. Gonzaga Prep is to be commended for not allowing bigotry interfere with the interest of their students in space science. www.spokesman.com
kneilca2 20-Oct-19, 18:31	@L_S Too bad one of the schools that Anne McClain attended didn't provide more leadership for their students to attend her talk. It's probably a good sign that I had not known about Anne's sexual orientation. After all, what would that have to do with being a good astronaut.
