fxe5 forks the rook and bishop. Also,

2.f4 exf4
3.e5 Bxe5
4.Bxe5+ Kf7
5.Bxd6

There are other options that seem to be better for black: Qb5 or a6? Rc8D8?

Even if the threatened fork comes to pass, it only nets a bishop for a pawn. That seems better than a rook for a pawn. This seems especially true when the threat to the bishop remains (albeit with a move in hand and the Q is no longer guarding g5).

after 2. f4 ef4 White has 3. Bxf6 Kxf6 4. e5+ and Black is in a world of hurt. Stockfish lite says 2 ...Rxd3 is Black's best!
