What's wrong with:

1. ... Nf6
2. Rd8 Qb4

Illogical..

I played it against computer... the gameknot computer moves differently each time you ask it to suggest the same move... when you ask it to suggest move after 2. Rd8, it moves the queen, not Kf7..

I think this exercise isn't anyway well designed..

The discovered check will mean that the queen on b4 would lose the piece to the knight.

The point is to win the Queen. After Rd8, the best black can do is to get a rook for the queen. If 2.. Qb4, for example, 3. Nd7+ Kf7 (any other move leads to mate in 10 or less), 4.Ne5+ Ke7, 5.Nc6+ wins the Queen for free. If 4. Ke6 Qc8+ 5.Kxe5 f4#
