why not knight g3, getting q, then white q would get rook if king took white rook, also prtecting knight on h5...ie 2 Nxg3+, Kxf6 3 Nxh5+, king move wherever, qxe8. Much better material and probably quicker mate

ignore that nonsense, i though continuation was mate in 9 without looking at it
