Annotated by fredmcgriff (1534): Hi, my name is Fred McGriff and I am a retired professional baseball player. Typically when my opponent opens with the queen's pawn I panic, yank the plug from my computer, and rock back and forth huddled in the corner of my closet. But since this is tenfingers, my nemesis, I dig deep and answer three days later with a well-thought-out d5. I'm pretty sure it's a force from here but he chooses… |

Probably Ke7 would be better. very stupid.. problem.. White could trade queens now and whould have a comfortable situation, but… |
Annotated by vavavi (1572): This is a decent game where white plays a queen sac which, trough blacks blunder lead to a won game. The queens gambit declined. (I think thats what it is called)
Computer gives this as a mistake giving white a reasonable edge. It aslo loses a pawn. Black castles queen side and places his rook on an open file. Perhaps playing Ne7 and trying to short castle was better. Unpinning… |
